La Tajuela is a 19th century house, protected
by the board of Extremadura, as an outstanding architectural building. It
is situated in Baños de Montemayor village, in the province of Caceres, and
only a few kilometres from Plasencia, villa de Hervas and the area of La
Vera. In the same village there are the Montemayor Spa Baths with top
quality installations for clients who use hydrotherapy.

La Tajuela has five fully furnished bedrooms.
The furniture is rustic style, and have been
carefully restored just as the house to preserve its character.
La
Tajuela is situated for easy access to many interesting places around Extremadura. In
just over a half an hour, you can be in the skiing resort of La Covatilla, Plasencia, el valle del Jerte,
Las Hurdes...

La Tajuela is situated in an ideal place, sorrounded
by nature and countryside. A short distance from the house, is the Nature
Reserve Garganta de los Infiernos, or the National Park of Monfragüe.
You can
choose from a relaxing comfortable peaceful stay,
or plan to do activites and visit many of the enchanting places that can be
found in Extremadura and Cáceres.
